Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how BG STRATEGIES LLC, doing business as MotionGuard (“MotionGuard,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies across our advertisements, advertorial articles, landing and sales pages, order and checkout pages, post-purchase pages, and the website www.trymotionguard.com (collectively, the “Services”).
This Cookie Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Privacy Policy, which explains more fully how we handle personal information.

1. About This Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies used across the Services, why we use them, the third parties involved, and the choices available to you. By using the Services, and where required by law by accepting our cookie banner or preference tool, you agree to the use of these technologies as described here. The categories of information collected through these technologies, and how that information is used and shared, are described in our Privacy Policy.
2. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
“Cookies” are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We and our partners also use related technologies, including:
- Pixels and web beacons — small pieces of code or tiny, often invisible images embedded in pages, ads, or emails that record activity such as a page view, a click, or a purchase;
- Tags and tag managers — code that loads and manages other scripts and tracking technologies on a page;
- SDKs — software development kits that perform similar functions within apps;
- Local storage — data stored by your browser to support site functionality; and
- Server-side event tracking — technology that sends activity and conversion data directly between servers rather than through your browser (see Section 6).
In this policy, we refer to all of these collectively as “cookies.”
3. First-Party, Third-Party, Session & Persistent Cookies
First-party cookies are set by us. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose technology we use on the Services, such as advertising and analytics partners (see Section 5). Session cookies are temporary and are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them, so that you can be recognized on a return visit.
4. Categories of Cookies We Use
4.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the Services to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They support core features such as loading pages, keeping items in your cart, completing checkout securely, balancing site traffic, and detecting and preventing fraud and abuse.
4.2 Performance & analytics
These cookies help us understand how visitors find and use the Services — for example, which advertorials and pages are viewed, how people move through the funnel, how long they stay, scroll depth, and where errors occur — so we can measure and improve the Services. This includes tools such as Google Analytics.
4.3 Advertising & targeting
These cookies help us and our advertising partners measure the performance of our ads, attribute conversions (such as purchases) to the ads that led to them, build and refine advertising audiences — including custom, lookalike or similar, and retargeting audiences — and show you more relevant ads on other websites and apps. This includes technologies from Meta, Google, TikTok, and other partners listed in Section 5.
5. Third-Party Cookies, Pixels & Advertising Partners
Depending on the campaign and page, the Services use cookies and pixels from third-party advertising and analytics partners, which may include, among others:
- Meta — the Facebook/Instagram Pixel and Conversions API;
- Google — Google Analytics, Google Ads, and related tags;
- TikTok — the TikTok Pixel and Events API;
- Other ad networks — such as Pinterest, Snapchat, and Microsoft/Bing;
- Analytics and session-measurement tools; and
- Our page-builder and e-commerce platform, which set cookies needed to operate and display the Services.
These third parties set and read their own cookies and identifiers and process data under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control. We encourage you to review the policies of these companies to understand their practices and the choices they offer.
6. Server-Side Conversion Tracking
In addition to browser-based pixels, we use server-side conversion tracking (sometimes called a “Conversions API”). With this technology, conversion and event data — such as page views, add-to-carts, and purchases, and identifiers including hashed contact information such as email address or phone number — is sent directly from our servers to advertising partners such as Meta, Google, and TikTok. This helps us measure ad performance and attribute conversions even when browser cookies are limited or blocked. How we handle this information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Cookies on Our Ads, Advertorials & Landing Pages
Our advertorial articles, pre-sell pages, and landing pages use the same cookies, pixels, and tracking technologies described in this policy. These pages are paid advertising, as explained in our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The technologies on them let us connect the ad you clicked to the advertorial you read, the sales and order pages you viewed, and any purchase and post-purchase offers you completed, so we can measure and improve our advertising.
8. How Long Cookies Last
The length of time a cookie stays on your device depends on the type of cookie. Session cookies last only for your browsing session. Persistent cookies last for a defined period, which can range from a short time to months or longer, depending on the cookie and its purpose, unless you delete them sooner. Third-party cookies are retained according to the practices of the third party that set them.
9. How to Manage Your Cookie Choices
You have several ways to control cookies:
- Cookie banner / preference tool. Where we provide one, you can use it to accept or decline non-essential cookies and to change your choices later.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and warn you before cookies are set. Look in your browser's settings or help menu. Blocking cookies may affect how the Services work (see Section 11).
- Mobile device settings. Your mobile device may let you reset your advertising identifier or limit ad tracking through its privacy settings.
- Industry opt-out tools. You can opt out of certain interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and, in the EU/UK, youronlinechoices.eu.
- Platform ad settings. Advertising platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok provide their own ad-preference and opt-out controls within their account settings.
Because cookie choices and opt-outs are usually tied to a specific browser or device, you may need to set them again if you clear cookies, use a different browser, or use a different device.
10. Targeted Advertising & “Do Not Sell or Share”
Our use of advertising cookies, pixels, and conversion tracking may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, or processing for targeted advertising, under certain U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out of this activity, including by using our cookie banner or preference tool and, where required by law, by enabling a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) in a supported browser or extension. For full details on these rights and how to exercise them, see the “Selling and Sharing” and “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” sections of our Privacy Policy.
11. What Happens If You Block Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be switched off without affecting core functionality. If you block or delete other cookies, parts of the Services may not work properly — for example, your cart or checkout may not function as expected, some preferences may not be remembered, and our analytics may be less accurate. Blocking advertising cookies does not mean you will stop seeing ads; it means the ads you see may be less relevant to you.
12. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the technologies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
